FISHING TRIPS ON OUR BEAUTIFUL NORWEGIAN FJORDS

Skipper & guide

PETER

Join Peter on a fishing trip on the Norwegian fjords. He is a skipper and fisherman. In a 29-foot long fishing boat, he is ready to take you out to the best fishing spots. Unfortunately, it is not possible to guarantee the catch and what type of fish you can get, but with a little advice from the skipper, the chance of catching increases.

The news for this year is that the boat departs from 2 different piers. If you reserve from Indre Bolsøya, the boat departs from the pier at Draget Gård or if you reserve from Kalveneset, the boat departs from the pier at Saltkjelsnes Camping. This is available to choose when booking.

Peter speaks Norwegian, Swedish and English.

Welcome on board!

Emma is a 29-foot long fishing boat with possibility to carry up to 10 people.

Today it´s only possible to bring 6 people for fishing at the same time, but many have small children who want to join, so Peter has increased the number to order.

Big Fish Little Fish – Norway Fishing Then & Now

I was clearly in a beautiful visual environment for fishing, and now I had visualized the type of fish I could catch; I was ready to get out on the water and throw in a line myself! The weather looked pretty ominous though, the fjord was shrouded in thick, gray clouds. I put on my raincoat (a must-have in Norway), and met Peter and Lizbeth who run Fisketurer på Romsdalsfjorden, a fishing company on the fjord.

Peter and Lizbeth are Swedish, and they fell in love with the area on a vacation and decided to call it home. As we chugged through the choppy water in a boat Peter named after his granddaughter, Emma, the clouds started to break up and reveal things we hadn’t seen before. It was as if the theater curtains were being pulled back, the orchestra was striking up a powerful tune, and suddenly the snow capped mountains and blue skies were revealed!
